this gorgeous crowd are the lewis family. a mad, bubbly, fun loving bunch that adore doing things as a family. when i arrived at alfie and claire’s house in simbithi, the three boys had come over with their respective wives and girlfriend, and the whole crew were all feeling quite light headed and knobbly kneed after doing the ‘big swing’ at moses mabhida stadium (something i would never even dream of doing!). of course, this also meant they were on quite an adrenalin high, and a table full of pizza’s were being slotted before my i could start snapping. once their tummies were full, we got to shooting what i was briefed to look like their ‘average’ sunday…
alfie and claire, thank you so much for letting me into your beautiful home to capture some really special memories. it was such a pleasure to spend my sunday afternoon experiencing the normal chaos of a family just a little smaller than my own.
